Maher Oil has been serving the Kansas City area since 1977, providing the area with fuel sales, transportation, on-site storage solutions and retail consulting. In 2012, Maher was purchased by Janice Patterson and has since benefitted from 50 years and three generations’ experience in the fuel industry.
At Maher Oil, our mission is to give our customers the high-quality service and care that they deserve. Our company inspires us to do this through the customers’ needs, values and expectations for their fuel set ups.

Janice
President, CEO
Janice has been with Maher since the day she purchased the company in 2012. She holds many years of experience in the fuel industry and brings much knowledge and experience to this company. Janice brings her skills in business management and excellent leadership to Maher Oil. She graduated from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO.
Chad
Vice President
Just like Janice, Chad has been with the company since the purchase of Maher in 2012. He is third generation in the fuel hauling business with his paternal side starting Patterson Oil and the Rush Hour Stations. Chad has followed in the footsteps of his mother, Janice, with bringing business management and leadership to Maher as well as fueling hauling experience. Chad has upgraded out truck fleet and onsite solution set ups in many ways to create an efficient team to meet our customers needs.
Millie
VP Assistant
Millie is the star of the company. She has been with the company since 2012 and has much experience in customer service, scratches, and an excellent negotiator at lunch time. She is a very valued employee, brings much assistance to our Vice President, and great joy to the rest of us.
Jodi
Director of Transportation
Jodi started with Maher in 2016 and has since advanced our company with her 6 years of experience in dispatching fuel. Jodi is a second-generation fuel dispatcher with her late father, Bill Akey, who was a long-time dispatcher and fuel hauler at Vickers. Jodi has also excelled in managing our fleet of trucks and our onsite solution tanks for our customers.
Brian
Sales Director
Brian comes from a long line of working in the fuel industry. He started back with his family back in 1988 with Suteco Transport (PTI) where he managed and supervised many retail convenience stores. He then became the Vice President in 1995 and soon the President of Whole distribution in 2007 where he was responsible for managing accounts and growing the business. He started at Maher Oil as our sales director in 2015 and has since highly benefited our sales field, customer service and onsite solution development. He graduated from K-State in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.
Annette Cascone
Office Manager
Annette started with Maher back in 2001 and has since brought a large administrative support to our company. Annette has developed a high sense of devotion to customer service, and has sense created a strong relationship with our customers.
Sydni Johnson
Dispatcher
Sydni has been with Maher since 2021 where she first started as our intern working alongside Jodi managing our transport fleet and working with our customers with their daily needs. She comes to us as a third generation in the fuel industry with her late grandfather, Bill Akey, being a long-time dispatcher and fuel hauler for Vickers and her own father, Scott Akey, hauling fuel for twenty years. She graduated from Northwest Missouri State University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business.
